At NuLook Home Care Agency, we believe that every individual has the right to receive care that respects their dignity, independence, and personal preferences. This document outlines your rights as a client receiving our services.
Respect and Dignity
You have the right to be treated with consideration, respect, and full recognition of your dignity and individuality, including privacy in treatment and in care for your personal needs.
Privacy and Confidentiality
You have the right to confidentiality of your personal, medical, and financial records. Your information will only be shared as authorized by you or as required by law.
Participation in Care
You have the right to participate in the development of your care plan, receive information about your services, and be informed of any changes to your care plan before they occur.
Freedom from Abuse
You have the right to be free from mental, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Right to Complain
You have the right to voice grievances regarding treatment or care that is (or fails to be) furnished, without fear of discrimination, reprisal, or unreasonable interruption of services.
Right to Refuse Services
You have the right to refuse services and to be informed of the potential consequences of that refusal.
Informed Decisions
You have the right to receive sufficient information to make informed decisions about your care and support services.
